Sam Worthington Story Super Hard Training for Avatar The Way of Water
The film Avatar: The Way of Water will be released December 16, 2022. Fans can't wait for the second Avatar sequel after more than a decade. This James Cameron film will again feature Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Kate Winslet, Stephen Lang, and other well-known actors.
Avatar: The Way of Water not only takes the audience to see a film but also takes them to experience an underwater adventure. The director and players hope that this Avatar sequel can follow the success of the previous Avatar films.
"This film will be the best experience for the audience, they will not only see this film but also feel it. I think this will be a surprise," said Sam Worthington in an interview with Good Morning America.
Sam Worthington has watched the end of Avatar: The Way of Water along with several other players such as Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver. According to him, this film is quite draining because of the storyline.
The sequel to Avatar revolves around how to protect one's family and the struggles that one makes for their loved ones. Sam Worthington also revealed that he wasn't too worried about whether the Avatar sequel would overtake the success of the previous film. He only hopes that the film Avatar: The Way of Water can touch the emotional side of the audience.
Returning to play Jake Sully, Sam Worthington is required to carry out intensive training. Likewise with the other players. The reason is, there are a lot of scenes that are done underwater so it's very challenging for everyone.
"Some of the emotional scenes that are usually shot on dry land, took place under the ocean. We all learned how to dive. We shot scenes of father and son connecting together underwater," said Sam Worthington in the same interview.
Zoe Saldana also spoke about the film Avatar: The Way Of Water, she called this film a dream come true. The previous Avatar film had a special place in the heart of the Guardians of the Galaxy actress. Zoe Saldana was quite critical when she first watched her newest project. Even so, he was just like any other player who felt swept up in the story of Avatar 2.
Avatar: The Way Of Water will be shown with a longer duration than the previous Avatar film, which is 3 hours. James Cameron as the director hopes that the audience will not complain about the duration of this film.
